PHRP Online Training is pleased to announce its partnership with SCELC members and affiliates to provide training for people involved in research with human subjects. PHRPtraining.com and the Protecting Human Research Participants online course was designed and developed by d’Vinci Interactive.
The Statewide California Electronic Library Consortium (SCELC) was established in 1986 to develop resource-sharing among the libraries of private academic institutions in Southern California. SCELC represents more than 100 member institutions and more than 200 affiliate institutions, reaching a total student population of 500,000.
PHRP Online Training provides affordable and accessible training to ensure ethical, safe, and compliant practices whenever research is being conducted with human participants. The training includes up-to-date content (including the new Common Rule update), case studies and interactive exercises and quizzes to help learners achieve a solid foundation of knowledge about the revised human subjects regulations and associated policies. PHRP learners may also choose to opt in for Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits through Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). A downloadable and personalized certificate of completion is offered to those who successfully pass the 3-hour course.
Organizational subscriptions are available for groups of block users. The group subscription gives administrative access for tracking group learners and completion certificates, an institution-specific URL and complimentary administrator on-boarding. Customized institutional subscriptions provide branded online training and learner handouts as well as a specialized institution-specific URL.
