Self-Paced Custom eLearning for Environmental Training
Transforming Technical Training into Accessible eLearning
The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection partnered with d’Vinci to transform its existing instructor-led training on Individual Residential Spray Irrigation Systems, or IRSIS, into a self-paced eLearning course.
The full course was planned as a 90-minute, 10-module Articulate Storyline series designed to make technical IRSIS content more engaging, consistent, and accessible for learners. Phase 1 focused on the first five modules, covering the IRSIS overview, site evaluation, system components, filtration, chlorination, and storage.
d’Vinci began with content review and discovery to better understand the course goals, learner needs, performance expectations, and accessibility considerations. From there, the team created a branded eLearning design direction, wrote storyboards, developed interactive modules, and redesigned the participant guide to better support the online learning experience.
