d’Vinci Launches Scholarship to Support Women Leaders

d’Vinci Interactive is proud to fund a new scholarship that expands access to leadership training and professional development for women survivors of domestic violence.

The d’Vinci Interactive Women’s Leadership Scholarship will cover tuition and materials for five women to participate in Women at the Forefront, a six-month professional development program hosted by Cornerstone for Women Leaders at Hagerstown Community College. Led by Cornerstone for Women Leaders President & CEO Shadae Paul, the course blends instruction, panel discussions, and coaching to help women build confidence, sharpen skills, and achieve career goals.

This first-of-its-kind collaboration brings together d’Vinci Interactive, Cornerstone for Women Leaders, Hagerstown Community College, and Citizens Assisting and Sheltering the Abused (CASA). Through this partnership, women in transitional housing at CASA will gain vital workforce training in areas such as leadership, conflict resolution, salary negotiation, and self-advocacy.

“Women at CASA have so much wisdom to share, and when they are welcomed into spaces of leadership, everyone benefits,” said Paul.

d’Vinci President Mason Scuderi added, “This scholarship provides valuable education for women rebuilding their lives, and we look forward to continuing to collaborate with Cornerstone and CASA to make a positive impact in our community.” 

Beyond funding the scholarship, Scuderi also serves as a mentor to Cornerstone for Women Leaders through his role as an Entrepreneur in Residence at the David W. Fletcher Incubator + Labs at Hagerstown Community College.
