d’Vinci Explores Podcasting for Learning at ATD Event

April 23, 2026

As organizations look for more flexible and engaging ways to reach learners, podcasting is emerging as a powerful addition to the learning toolkit. d’Vinci team members will bring that conversation to the forefront at the Association for Talent Development (ATD) Central Pennsylvania chapter event, “Podcasting as a Learning Strategy: From Concept to Launch,” on May 20, 2026. Members and guests may register for the session on the Central PA ATD website.

The virtual session will explore how organizations are using podcasts as a practical and flexible tool to extend learning beyond traditional training formats. As part of the program, d’Vinci’s Susan Cort, Marketing & Public Relations Director; Beth Buchanan, Senior Instructional Designer/Project Manager; and Ashlea Novalis, Instructional Designer/Project Manager, will share real-world examples and actionable insights drawn from client work and internal initiatives.

Together, the presenters will highlight how podcasting can support training reinforcement, leadership development, and knowledge sharing—meeting learners where they are and delivering content in the flow of work.

Ashlea Novalis will discuss how JULIE (Illinois Notification Center) integrates podcasts into its training ecosystem to reach field-based audiences. Beth Buchanan will share how Penske Logistics leverages podcasting to support workforce development and connect learning to broader business goals. Susan Cort will provide a behind-the-scenes look at d’Vinci’s Powered by Learning podcast, outlining the key steps required to successfully launch and sustain a podcast program.

Attendees will leave with practical guidance to:

  • Identify effective use cases for podcasting within their organization
  • Evaluate whether podcasts align with their learning objectives and audience needs
  • Understand the logistics of planning, producing, and distributing a podcast
  • Develop an action plan to pilot or expand podcasting as part of their learning strategy

The session aligns with ATD capabilities in Professional Business Insight and Technology Application, emphasizing how emerging communication technologies can support organizational performance and transformation.
