Adobe Flash CS3: Rich Content Creation

Overview

Taught in 2 days, Adobe Flash CS3: Rich Content Creation is an introductory course that provides designers and developers new to the Flash environment the knowledge and hands-on practice they need to create rich Flash content. Students will produce an engaging interface using text, graphics, animations, video, and sound. Simple user interactions are added using built in ActionScript behaviors and Script Assist. In addition to teaching essentials, the course focuses on teaching best practices for creating Flash content.

The information taught in this course, except where noted by the instructor, can be used with all of the most recent versions of Flash (MX, MX 2004, 8 and CS3).

Our instructor has been teaching Flash since version 4 and been developing applications and animations with Flash for over 3 years.

Instructor Biography 

Eric McDonald

Eric McDonald wears many titles at d’Vinci including graphic designer, flash developer, website developer, and javascript writer in addition to instructor. He has been designing and developing multimedia projects since 1999. Eric is an Adobe Certified Flash Designer and Instructor and teaches one of our Flash design courses. He also helped co-develop our CSS Training and is the lead instructor.

Eric is a graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a degree in Graphic Design.

  • Experience with the Windows or Macintosh operating system.
  • Familiarity with Web terminology.
