This coarse (Flash 8: ActionScript) was very well prepaired and ran. I would recommend this to anyone looking to gain a working knowledge of ActionScript.– C.O. (Reading, PA)
This (Flash MX 2004: Application Development) was the most well though out and useful course I have ever taken for a Adobe product. It gives useful information that I can begin using today and explains how to use features that put Flash on par with any bona fide Web application. This is how every training course should be! Excellent class.
He's (Mason's) taught me from beginning Flash, 3 years ago to application development now. He has grown in knowledge of Adobe's practices and object oriented programming as Adobe has added more features to their product lines. This is an impressive feat given the pace of product change and having to develop his own projects. Great instructor with a laid back, but informative approach. Gives information in easily digestable chunks. Also he quickly links the pieces together to see how each exercise will work with other to create the whole project. Highly recommended.– C.E. (Washington, DC)
Great instructor -- approachable, patient, evenly paced instruction. kudos.– P.W. (Annapolis, MD)
An excellent introduction to ActionScript and how it can enhance your Flash presentations/projects. Will definitely be back for the advanced class. The instructor was extremely knowledgeable on the subject matter. Provided many examples of the dirferent code we were learning about.– J.H. (Waldorf, MD)
You [Eric] did a great job of moving through the material at a good rate of speed and stopping to explain when we got tangled up. … If the opportunity to take the scripting course comes my way I'll be jumping at it. I'll also be recommending D'vinci to others who may be interested in this level of training. – Amber (Winchester, VA)
I feel as though I can now create dynamic sites with Flash and hang with the Big Boys. I learned a great deal and enjoyed the individual attention that the instructor gave to us. This course and the instructor are outstanding.. . . – George (Hartford, CT)
This was a great course for me. I had been playing around with the tutorials and creating some animations on my own before I came. Working through the course gave me a much clearer picture of how things ’fit together’ in Flash. It is going to save time and trauma. Thank you, Eric! – W.D. National Park Service
Mason showed the patience of a saint! Mason seemed to be able to devise quick illustrative activities on the fly to bring us up to speed if we were lacking in the knowledge to continue with an exercise. More than anything, I’ll take away a new pattern of thinking about the web, and a new logic of content management. – Anonymous
I really enjoyed your class and thought you were an excellent instructor. I liked the way you taught. You can get much more out of a class by doing it your way than going by the book. I think more people get stressed out and tired when you have to go page-by-page. – J.M. (Bethesda, MD)
d’Vinci’s instructors have a laid back but enthusiastic attitude that provides an excellent environment for learning. – T.D. National Park Service, Philadelphia, PA
This has been one hell of a class - best thing I’ve done in years! (read the full evaluation) – Jon Hoy, CSI
I liked the patience & personal attention of the instructor. The real world examples were the most helpful... – Sherri (Las Vegas, NV)
The small classes were a plus for personal attention. I gained a lot more than I was expecting from [the workshop]... – Sandy (Austin, Texas)
I felt the course was perfect for both beginners and advanced multimedia developers. I can’t wait to return to work to begin using what I learned... – Ted (Baltimore, MD)
Class was enjoyable and entertaining. Training content was just right for someone coming into Flash with little or no knowledge.– I.T. (Washington, DC)
Gave a lot of tricks that are not readily available in textbooks or on-line courses. – K.C. (Silver Spring, MD)
Overall, I think the learning experience was pleasant and I would recommend this course to anyone looking to learn Flash.– L.M. (Frederick, MD)
The instructor covered the topics but catered the labs towards our work situations and questions we asked him. It was very helpful. – S.A. (Laurel, MD)
