Overview
This Adobe Captivate course is designed to take participants through the development process of building software demonstrations and interactive simulations. The course is task-based, with participants learning by recording and updating projects. Along with covering the key features of Captivate, the course focuses on best practices to record Captivate projects.
This course is designed for people who are both beginner and intermediate Adobe Captivate users who want to create software demonstrations and interactive simulations. This course will help you to quickly get the most out of your Captivate investment.
Instructor Biography
Vijay-Kumar Solanki
Vijay-Kumar Solanki has been an instructor since 1985. He has been teaching Dreamweaver, Captivate and Robohelp at d’Vinci Interactive for over three years. Vijay is one of our most requested instructors and has a reputation for keeping the students entertained while they learn. As an Adobe Certified Instructor, Vijay has taught Captivate at Ohio State University, West Virginia University, the F.B.I., the U.S. Coast Guard, and the Department of Homeland Security, to name a few.
Vijay also uses Captivate, on an almost daily basis, for developing e-learning websites. His Captivate development clients have included MICROS Software (for whom we developed over 50 course hours of material), Johns Hopkins, The College Board and Found Value.
Vijay attended Shepherd College studying Music Education and Music Composition.
Prerequisites
Familiarity with Windows Operating Systems, using Microsoft Internet Explorer, and a basic understanding of computer terminology is required. Knowledge of Flash concepts is helpful, but not required.
