Overview
This 3-day Authoware course is designed to give you practical experience using Authorware’s variables and functions. During the course, you will build an interactive simulation of a personal digital assistant (PDA). Through this simulation you will be introduced to essential Authorware elements and techniques for creating robust, real-life applications. The objective of this class is more effective and efficient program development.
The class structure is similar to that of the Fast Track class: each lesson is followed by practice activities (brainteasers) that often have a “twist” or additional challenge.
The prerequisite for this class includes your completion of the Authorware Fast Track class or the equivalent experience using Authorware (typically 6-8 months or more). A solid knowledge of Authorware’s flowline and all icons is assumed, and familiarity with Functions and Variables is a plus.
Note that we try to schedule the Advanced classes as quickly after Fast Track as possible. This allows us to accommodate those students interested in mastering the program as rapidly as possible. Each class naturally builds on the other, and we employ many techniques to promote retention.
