When d’Vinci Interactive started in 1994, our first projects involved the creation of edutainment CD–ROMs, including working with the National Crime Prevention Council and McGruff the Crime Dog. Since then, we have created edutainment CD–ROMs for adults—such as Schindler Elevator’s Beanworld: A Non–Bean Counter’s Guide to Successful Financial Management—and for children of all ages.
Our edutainment experience has helped us build a great partnership with the National Park Service. This has included the creation of 22 individual activities and the entire WebRangers website. The activities consist of games, stories, and puzzles, all designed to educate in a fun way. Although targeted toward kids, adults have fallen in love with the site and activities too!
