Web Browser Controlled Digital Signage

Digital signage has become a popular and effective way to reach audiences. A digital sign network consists of electronic displays (usually flat-panel displays) used in a public space to inform, advertise, and entertain viewers. Example implementations include doctors’ offices, nursing homes, lobbies, retail and recreation environments, transportation terminals, convention centers, schools, college campuses, and more.

SIGNERA is a web-administered digital sign platform that is easy to implement and use.

SIGNERA stands out from it's competition because it allows customization of display content in real time via a secure online website. Subscribers can create their own customized templates to suit their needs or choose from a host of industry specific sign templates.

Administrators can control every aspect of the onscreen display, including date and time controls for when content displays, as well as the content that displays within specific screens or groups of screens. The content that can be controlled includes:

d’Vinci’s role

d’Vinci Interactive played a key role in the development of the SIGNERA platform, including development of the customizable template application and the individual content modules. The front-end was developed using Flash for a dynamic, attention-getting presentation, and the back-end uses PHP and XML. The content is controlled by a secure, easy-to-use Web interface.
