InsightExpress is an acknowledged pioneer of rapid turnaround, high-quality, online marketing research services. d’Vinci Interactive partnered with InsightExpress to develop a next-generation marketing survey tool, delivered on the internet, giving users an engaging, rich, and interactive environment in which to make their choices. In this iteration, the application is used to survey magazine preferences.

Gone are the days of online surveys with radio buttons, check boxes, and text. This application is designed to be visually attractive, reminiscent of a bookstore’s magazine section or New York style newsstand, depending on which skin is chosen. The user chooses which magazines they prefer by lifting them off the shelf and adding them to their shopping cart. Once the user has made their preferred selections, this information is passed back to the survey via Javascript.

The application is totally dynamic, allowing an administrator to customize almost every aspect of the user’s experience, including the greeting, magazines, rows, columns, required selections, interface skin, and more.

d’Vinci designed the application and interfaces and programmed the Flash and XML. Integrated via Javascript and XML, the web-based survey was developed using ASP.NET.
