Directions from East of Hagerstown

From DC

  1. From the Washington Beltway, I-495, take the I-270 exit.
  2. Stay on I-270 to the I-70 (Hagerstown) exit.
  3. From I-70, take the Rt. 40 West exit (exit number 32B) toward Hagerstown.
  4. Follow Rt. 40 about 1 mile to the first light, Edgewood Rd.
  5. Turn right and stay on Edgewood for three lights.
  6. At the third light, make a left onto the Hagerstown Community College Campus.
  7. When on campus, make your first left onto Scholar Drive.
  8. Follow Scholar Drive to the first stop sign and make a right into the parking lot.
  9. The building in front of you is the Technical Innovation Center.
  10. Please park in the spaces marked TIC Visitor Parking Only. Our studio is in room #323. Training is in room #309.

From Baltimore

  1. From the Baltimore Beltway, I-695, go to the I-70 (Frederick) exit.
  2. Stay on I-70 to Hagerstown (about 20 miles west of Frederick).
  3. From I-70, take the Rt. 40 West exit (exit number 32B) toward Hagerstown.
  4. Follow Rt. 40 about 1 mile to the first light, Edgewood Rd.
  5. Turn right and stay on Edgewood for three lights.
  6. At the third light, make a left onto the Hagerstown Community College Campus.
  7. When on campus, make your first left onto Scholar Drive.
  8. Follow Scholar Drive to the first stop sign and make a right into the parking lot.

From Dulles/Northern Virginia

  1. From Northern Virginia, in most instances you will want to avoid the Capital Beltway by going to Leesburg and then taking Route 15 north to Frederick, MD. (This is a nice long drive on a 2 lane road through beautiful countryside.)
  2. To get to Leesburg, you will probably want to either take the Greenwa (the Dulles toll road extended) west or take Route 7 west.
  3. Either way you will intersect with Route 15 where you will want to go north.
  4. In Frederick, take I-70 west to the first Hagerstown exit (exit number 32B), Route 40 West (about 20 miles west of Frederick).
  5. Follow Rt. 40 about 1 mile to the first light, Edgewood Rd.
  6. Turn right and stay on Edgewood for three lights.
