If you are starting a new website, we can make certain it is getting started on a solid CSS foundation.

CSS Development Options

Our development and consulting services can take several different forms, depending on how involved you wish to be:

  1. d’Vinci will take care of everything. You simply give us the content and we’ll create the site. With this approach, when the site is complete, you can take over maintenance yourself or we can maintain it for you. You will be assured that your site is fully compliant on all browsers, including handhelds.

  2. d’Vinci will work with you to assist in transitioning your site to CSS. Some of the services we can offer include:

    • Training on “how to think in CSS” and how to achieve a design/layout for your site using CSS with minimal or no tables used for presentation
    • Suggesting CSS solutions for your specific layout
    • Analyzing your code to ensure that it is done correctly and efficiently
    • Troubleshooting specific problems

    Clients who choose this path typically want to become fluent in coding CSS and XHTML and are looking for assistance getting through the initial transition.

  3. d’Vinci can prepare the CSS files for your site and create “templates” from which you can use to build your site. Some clients prefer this method, as it jump–starts the process and your site can transition more quickly to one coded with CSS.

    Typically these clients are not interested in becoming expert coders — at least not right away.

  4. In addition to creating the templates, as noted in Option 3, d’Vinci can provide the complete migration to CSS. This would include moving all your content from its existing format to CSS templates.
